BP have upstream activities in the region. In Abu Dhabi, our operations include joint venture partnerships with the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and shareholdings in Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company, Abu Dhabi Gas Liquefaction Company, the Natural Gas Shipping Company and Bunduq Company Limited.

BP  is active in Iraq redeveloping one of the world’s largest oilfields, Rumaila.  Since December 2013 BP has been developing the Khazzan field covered by the Block 61 concession area. In Kuwait BP is assisting KOC on a waterflood project which will increase production from the Burgan field.  BP runs a refining and marketing business from Dubai known as BP Middle East.
