H.E. Dr. Tariq Bin Hendi is the Director General of the Abu Dhabi Investment Office. He has more than 18 years of experience in asset management, private equity and investment banking. Prior to his current position, Tariq held various roles at Emirates NBD, Commercial Bank of Dubai, Mubadala, Citigroup, Dubai Holding, Delta Airlines and UPS. Currently, he also sits on the Boards of ENBD REIT, DGCX, AXA GCIC and EPG (Emirates Post). Tariq holds a PhD in Economics from Imperial College London (UK) as well as graduate degrees from Columbia University (USA) and London Business School (UK), and an undergraduate degree from Clayton State (USA).

Mona Ahmed Balalaa is an ICV Execution Manager in the Commercial Directorate, ADNOC. In her role, Balalaa is responsible for the smooth implementation and monitoring of the company’s In-Country Value (ICV) program in the entire Procurement Function process of ADNOC Group of companies. She has more than 11 years of experience in ADNOC, starting her career in the Procurement Division of ADNOC Drilling in 2008. Balalaa graduated with a Bachelor of Business, specializing in Business and Information Technology, from Higher Colleges of Technology, UAE. She also holds an Executive Master of Business Administration from Zayed University, UAE and CIPS certified as well.

Hamad Saif Belmahaina is an ICV Development Manager in Commercial Directorate of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC). In his role, as Chairman of Certification Bodies Council, Belmahaina is responsible for the smooth implementation and monitoring of the company’s In-Country Value (ICV) program. In addition, part of his role is to monitor and coordinate the ADNOC appointed ICV certifying bodies.  Belmahaina has over 12 years’ experience in the Audit field, starting his career in the Financial Audit Department, Dubai. He joined ADNOC in 2014 as an Senior Internal Auditor, before moving to Group Procurement in 2018. He graduated with a Master degree of applied finance & Banking, from University of Wollongong, UAE.


Dhia Hussain, Board Director of CBC Abu Dhabi, has over 35 years of experience in the areas of Technical and Project management, ship building, strategic planning and organizational excellence. He was involved in Major projects as project manager with ADNOC and other companies in the region. Passionate about energy efficiency in the marine market by promoting niche technologies. Active in organizational excellence program in Abu Dhabi & Dubai through the role of team leader in Sheik Khalifa excellence award, Dubai Health Authority and other private & governmental entities. Dhia Hussain is UK Bachler graduate in Marine Engineering and master’s in project management.
